GOD IS TRUTH, THEREFORE . . .

As he has opportunity, Pastor Streeter has been preaching on the attributes of God. The sermon “God is Truth, Therefore . . .” will be a blessing to many people.  The inspiration, inerrancy, and preservation of Scripture is discussed. What Pastor Streeter says about God’s promises, especially His promises to old people and the dying, will provide comfort.  We can trust God based upon the fact that he is truth. You can hear this sermon here. (151018)

LUKE 1 – AN IMPORTANT DETAIL

This is a portion of a sermon Pastor Streeter preached in 1985. The topic is as current today as it was then. Luke 1:41 tells us that John the Baptist “leaped” in Elisabeth’s womb when Mary visited after Mary had received the news from the angel that she would be the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. What does that tell us about the life of a babe in the womb?

THE OMNIPOTENCE OF GOD

The Omnipotence of God

This sermon is on one of the attributes of God, His Omnipotence.  Pastor Streeter has been thinking, studying, meditating, and thinking a lot about the attributes of God, because we cannot love God or worship Him as we should unless we know Him better, and we get to know Him better by knowing more about His attributes, i.e., Who He Is! THE HOPE WE NEED

Hebrews 6:17-19; Romans 8:20-25; I Corinthians 13:13   In these treacherous times we need hope.  The Christian hope can come only from God.  We need hope for our disillusionments, for our sicknesses, for our family survival, and for our end-of-life experience.  This sermon explains why Christians have hope and why there is no reason to have a weak hope. FOUR THINGS THAT ARE NEVER SATISFIED

Four Things That are Never Satisfied

Proverbs 30:15-16  This is Pastor Streeter’s second sermon from Proverbs 30 which was preached at Lantern Park Baptist Church in Lake City, Florida.  Here he continues the topic which is introduced in Proverbs 30:15, “There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough” and completed in Proverbs 30:16.  (130915)
